Commitment to the Modern Slavery Act

A voluntary MSS statement. Kairos Gen embraces the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the abolition of modern slavery and human trafficking.

We believe in equity and are committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory, dignified and safer working environment for our colleagues and service users. It is important to us that colleagues and service users feel confident that they can expose concerns about wrongdoing without fear of risk or repercussion.

Recruitment

Kairos Gen’s recruitment and people management processes ensure prospective colleagues are legally entitled to work in the UK and safeguard service users and colleagues from abuse or coercion.

We do not knowingly do business with any organisation in the UK or abroad that intentionally supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour. And if such conduct comes to light, we will end our relationship.

Supply Chain

Due to the nature of our business, we assess ourselves to have a low risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains.

Our supply chains are limited and we procure goods and services from a restricted range of the UK and overseas suppliers, mainly through survivor networks and government frameworks.

Embedding Principles

We will continue to embed the principles through colleague awareness training raising awareness of the modern slavery procurement guidance on GOV.UK
